Varicose Veins

Itchy Veins – Painful Veins

These are veins that protrude above the skin surface, and are usually caused by venous-reflux and venous hypertension.  These varicose veins can produce pain in the leg or itching of the overlying skin, cause skin irritation (redness) and can erode through the skin, bleed, and can clot.  All of these complications of the condition are avoidable or can be improved with appropriate therapy, after the underlying cause is identified by duplex ultrasound or other diagnostic tools.  The team of vein doctors and staff of VINJ has available the resources needed to correctly diagnose the causes of varices and treat them with several different non-invasive techniques.
